As the Vectren Dayton Show came to a close this weekend, it is with a heavy heart that we relive the triumphs and extreme tragedy of this weekends events. My last words with Wing-Walker, Jane Wicker, were 24 hours after she took to the skies with pilot, Charlie Schwenker at the Air Show. Sadly, that stunt ended in a crash that killed them both this past Saturday. That interview was the first time I met Jane, and she struck me as a vibrant, passionate and dedicated being. I continue to keep their families in my prayers.
Jane’s final interview with me is below:

I attended the Air Show a day after the crash, and was told, Aerobatic Pilot, Sean Tucker went around speaking to children who had witnessed the crash.
He tried to help them cope by telling them we all have a passion to do things in our lives, but some of those things may be dangerous and we have to be careful. One take away is that Jane and Charlies left this world doing what they loved the most.
